Directions: on the East side of Rt 29 South at the intersection of Plank Road and Route 29. This is about 11 mi. south of the I64 and Route 29 interchange. You might recognize the "Crossroads" building.

Enjoy crisp mountain air, changing leaves and celebrate the fruits of fall. Spend a fun-filled day in the park with apple butter making, frontier games, campfire cooking, hayrides, canoe tours, hay rides, traditional Appalachian artisan and craft demonstrations, clogging and great food, including a pig roast. The event will kick off with bluegrass by Southwater at 10am. Douthat State Park is located near Lexington & Goshen. Admission is $3. The event is all day with five other bands performing at various times.

Music starts at 7:30, but get there early for a table. No cover charge.

Pizza Bella Bistro is located just south of town near the Mill Creek residential area and Monticello High School, in the same shopping center as the Food Lion down Avon St. extended.
